We put together this brief interview to help you get to know him a little better.

What inspires you?

I draw influence and inspiration from many places – from the people around me who are starting or running their own businesses to individuals like Tim Ferris and Rich Roll who run amazing podcasts, and some of the people they interview. I’m also inspired by the books I read such as The Lean Startup, Zero to One, A New Earth and even my own children with their innate creativity and ability to always be in the flow and in the moment.

In your opinion, what is your greatest asset?

My creativity. It is my belief that the essence of where this creativity comes from is what sets apart as individuals and what makes us who we are; it is intrinsically linked to our purpose and gives as unique expression in this wonderful world we live in.

What’s your favourite thing to do when you’re not in the office?

I enjoy spending time with my family, meditating, riding my mountain bike, surfing and walking in the mountains.

How do you give back to your community?

I buy a tree every month to offset carbon emissions. I donate to Avaaz and Unicef and I am part of an international organisation called The Mankind Project that seeks to increase consciousness within men. But above all, I choose to show up in the world with integrity, honesty and compassion and seek to do work with people who do too.

What’s your most prized gadget or creative tool?

I’m not a big tech or gadget guy. I recently opened my nearly 20-year-old ink pen set and have been playing with that and having fun.

If you could give your younger self some advice what would it be?

Live for now, trust your instinct, follow your passion and know that everything will turn out great.
