31 -Zachariah George: More collaboration - less condescension

March 11th 2019

Zachariah George is changing the narrative in Africa. For a kid born in the South of India, raised in Muscat, Oman, who received his Masters of Finance at Standford, USA, he breaks out of all boxes. People assume there is no innovation coming out of Africa he says. Not if his initiative ‘start up bootcamp’ has anything to say about it. George might be an engineer and ex Wall Street banker by trade, but in his heart, he’s a creative. And a ‘peace and love’ guy who just happens to be impacting a whole continent in the tech space. It’s a beautiful dichotomy.

You can’t expect everyone to have a moral compass. But if you build something that is commercially viable and solves problems for real people, the social impact will naturally come.
